Learn to blend your own natural scent.
Step into the world of scent. In this immersive workshop, I will guide you through the art of scent layering until you've built something that's completely, unmistakably yours.
Every guest leaves with a 10ml bottle of the perfume they created.

-This workshop is mobile. I can bring the experience to your home, vacation spot, workplace and event space.

CUSTOM SCENT CREATION
A natural scent made for you, with you.
Some scents tell a story. Yours should too.
You bring the story. A place you miss. A season that shaped you. A feeling you can't quite name. I listen, ask you to choose the notes you love, then I build. From my collection of natural botanicals and handcrafted tinctures, I compose a small-batch perfume that belongs only to you. You'll smell each formula as it comes to life and choose the one that feels like yours.

Workshop Details
Embark on a sensory journey of scent discovery for 2 hours. Discover unique fragrances from Bend, the PNW, west coast and around the world. The aromatic blends will be inspired by the shifting light of the summer, fall, winter & spring Equinox. Together we will work with pure botanical's, resins, woods and spices, crafting scents that mirror the earth’s transition into its cooler, more contemplative seasons.
We also discuss moments where our memories are sparked by scents and how to transform our own signature scent into a future memory.

No prior experience is needed - just curiosity and a love of scent. All materials are provided, and you will leave with your custom creation in a 10ml. bottle.
When you book your workshop, I'll send you a list of notes to choose from for the session. I'm also very open to any note suggestions you might have!

Custom Creation
Instead of listing out the components of a custom scent session, I am going to tell you a story about one of the sessions.
Three women arrived on a cool Friday afternoon with a bottle of wine and one shared thought — what does my natural perfume smell like? We always begin with a conversation. Then the materials: twenty raw ingredients laid across the table, resins and florals, herbs and woods, each one to be smelled and considered. I love the moments in this process when someone lifts a scent strip, breathes in, and recognition crosses their face. Each woman found her three notes and from those I built four to five formulas, adjusting ratios by hand until each blend had its own character. The testing is patient and relaxed. You smell, you sit with it, you come back. A short time later, every woman had found hers. I bottled each perfume while they finished their wine — three distinct scents that didn't exist before they walked in. The session lasted about 2-2.5 hours.
What do you love to smell? From there, everything is made around you — your notes, your ratios, your story.

I have lived in Bend since 2020, and having lived in many places throughout my life, I can say that the nature here far surpasses anything I have seen before. I truly enjoy being able to step outside and experience it every day.

My location has been situated on the west side of Bend since 2020. I rebuilt a portion of my garage into a professional artist's studio and lab. It is a warm, cozy space that can accommodate up to 25 guests for workshops.

Most groups choose to bring their own food and beverages, and I am happy to help set these up on side tables next to the workshop area.
Whether you are planning to bring charcuterie boards, wine, sodas, juices, desserts, or even a chocolate fountain, I am happy to accommodate your needs. Please let me know what you have in mind.

Guests are welcome to bring beverages and food as noted above. Many groups choose to book an alcohol-free experience and focus on bringing non-alcoholic beverages instead.

I began studying the art of perfumery in 2018 and have continued my education in the field ever since. My training focuses on the art of blending notes derived from various natural elements, such as bark, resin, flowers, moss, and herbs.
I apply this expertise to create unique private workshops and events tailored for you.

Fathers and sons often bond over blending notes together, and these workshops have become quite popular with that group. Scent is a natural fit for this younger generation, and their fathers support the experience.
