Dream Scent Walk: East Village - Tribeca - Chelsea - Back Again
I’m holding the book, ‘Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk’ by Kathleen Rooney as I step out of The Bowery Hotel. It’s 9am. I dream of the dessert I will eat at 9pm.
Dream date in Portland, Oregon. Scent.
I’m wearing a favorite dress from Rodarte — with a veil. Because when in Portland, if you have a veil, wear it. He’s in jeans and SZA t-shirt, which makes perfect sense to me.
Private Workshops, Perfume & the Magic of Wild Petals Provisions
Nancy's path to cheese and charcuterie winds through some unexpected places — including the halls of Nike and Nordstrom, where she spent years in product management. But the seed of Wild Petals was planted long before that, somewhere between airports and cobblestone streets.
The Scent of Central Oregon: How I Created Obsidian for The Westman Hotel
My inspiration started, as it often does, with my feet on a trail. Green Lakes is my favorite hiking spot in Bend — a 9-to-10-mile loop where you’re truly immersed in the landscape. The sunlight, the dirt, the pine, the wildflowers. To me, it’s where all the fairies sprinkle their fairy dust on you.
A Creative Birthday Experience in Bend (alcohol-free)
This weekend, a husband booked a private scent workshop for his wife’s birthday. Twelve of their friends (men & women) gathered around the blending table to create custom natural scents (perfume & cologne) inspired by the Pacific Northwest — woods, moss, spice, citrus, resin.
They brought in large charcuterie boards, fresh breads, gourmet juices, sparkling waters and cake!
I welcome guests to bring their own food and beverages and have two extra beautiful tables designated for them. He booked it for 4pm and they chose to stay till 8pm.
